Public Benefit Actions

Vanke Charity Foundation and Tetra Pak started up cooperation in Beijing Vanke Xingyuan Community on April 21, initiating a new mode of garbage sorting in the urban community. In the following three years, cooperation between the two sides will be conducted in twelve Vanke communities in six cities in order to explore a duplicable mode promoting garbage sorting and increasing resource reuse rate. Vanke plans to implement garbage sorting in 200 communities across the country, so as to reduce garbage by 30-40 percent on the average. Moreover, standardized sorting solutions for categorized garbage will be worked out based on classification of cities and communities that vary in infrastructure facilities.
