Capacity Building

We wish to achieve sustainable improvement in developing countries with our work. Therefore it is important to us to establish local structures which contribute to improved Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights also in the long term.

Trainings

We offer a wide variety of trainings, including for example:

  • Peer educator trainings on sexual and reproductive health and rights;
  • Strengthening managerial capacity and organisation development;
  • Fundraising for non-governmental organisations;
  • Advocacy for non-governmental organisations;
  • Trainings on subjects relating to health and other development policy topics for decision-makers;
  • Trainings on youth-friendly and gender-friendly health services.

DSW's training methodology includes traditional seminars and workshops as well as coaching programmes and online courses. The range of modular trainings is complemented by accompanying measures such as helpdesks, telephone hotlines and mentoring. We also serve as an information provider through publications and on the internet.

Healthy Action

Healthy Action aims to empower East African non-state actors to advocate effectively on health issues by increasing their capacity to formulate policy priorities, monitor their implementation and hold decision-makers to account.
