Karen Hoehn

Karen Hoehn is DSW’s Vice Executive Director and Director of International Affairs since January 2008, having joined DSW as Director of European Affairs in 2005. With 20+ years of advocacy experience and over $US 1 billion in programmes developed and leveraged, Karen has spearheaded DSW’s drive for increased north-south advocacy collaboration. The positions she held before joining DSW include Director, Strategic Health Systems Development; Vice President, Public Programs, APS Healthcare; EU Liaison Officer, IPPF European Network; and Director, Government Programs Development CMG Health. She has a Master's Degree in Public Management from the University of Maryland School of Public Affairs, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy from Texas Christian University.
