DSW Tanzania
DSW’s work in Tanzania dates back to 1996, when DSW partnered with the African Medical Research Foundation (AMREF) to establish the ANGAZA Training Institute. The country is now home to DSW’s newest youth training center in Arusha, a focal point for youth-serving activities that provides an ideal location for dedicated training, events, and activities initiated by youth clubs in the area.
The number of women dying of pregnancy and childbirth related complications has almost halved in 20 years, according to new estimates released today (May 16th) by the World Health Organization (WHO), United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the World Bank
